W.O.I. – Watches of Italy 6, a Milano il nuovo volto dell’orologeria indipendente

Durante la manifestazione debutterà il nuovo Epsilon Inceptum

Dopo il successo delle precedenti edizioni e dello spin-off primaverile di Jesolo, W.O.I. – Watches of Italy si prepara a sbarcare per la prima volta a Milano, sabato 8 e domenica 9 novembre 2025 negli spazi di Superstudio Più (Via Tortona 27), il cuore del distretto creativo della capitale italiana della moda.

Nel corso di sei edizioni, Watches of Italy ha visto crescere costantemente la propria brand awareness, il numero di visitatori ed espositori, consolidandosi come piattaforma italiana per microbrand, startup e manifatture indipendenti. L’edizione 2024 aveva registrato oltre 5.000 presenze, confermando il crescente interesse verso il mondo dell’orologeria indipendente. Il trasferimento a Milano rappresenta un passo in avanti nel percorso di sviluppo dell’evento, che amplia ora il proprio target guardando al mercato internazionale e aprendo le porte anche a marchi esteri di tutta la filiera orologiera, dalla componentistica al packaging, dalla formazione ai servizi di private label.

“Watches of Italy si conferma non solo come incubatore di nuovi talenti ma anche come cornice ideale per presentare anteprime mondiali. Con l’apertura ai marchi esteri vogliamo dimostrare che l’orologeria indipendente -ancora poco conosciuta da alcuni – è più viva che mai e ha tanto da raccontare.” sottolineano Fabrizio Dellachà e Silvia Bonfanti, organizzatori di Watches of Italy.

Tra gli appuntamenti più attesi dell’edizione 2025, il talk di Presentazione di Inceptum Epsilon, in programma sabato 8 novembre alle ore 14:30. Il nuovo modello Epsilon, nato dalla collaborazione tra Inceptum e Carmelo Amalfi (Bludimelo), è un mirabile esempio di manifattura italiana con un design ricercato e l’utilizzo di un nuovo calibro I-02, interamente progettato e realizzato in-house. Interverranno Alessandro Metelli & Andrea Abeni, founders di Inceptum insieme al watch designer Amalfi che ha firmato il segnatempo.

Come da tradizione, la manifestazione sostiene l’associazione “Gli Amici del Sorriso O.D.V.”, attiva nel reparto di oncoematologia e chirurgia pediatrica del Policlinico San Matteo di Pavia: un gesto concreto per restituire sorrisi ai bambini ricoverati.

W.O.I. – Watches of Italy 6: the new face of independent watchmaking comes to Milan

After the success of previous editions and the spring spin-off in Jesolo, W.O.I. – Watches of Italy will arrive in Milan for the first time on Saturday 8 and Sunday 9 November 2025 at Superstudio Più (Via Tortona 27), in the heart of the city’s creative district.

Over six editions, Watches of Italy has steadily increased its brand awareness, visitor numbers, and exhibitors, establishing itself as Italy’s platform for microbrands, startups, and independent manufacturers. The 2024 edition drew over 5,000 visitors, confirming the growing interest in independent watchmaking.

The move to Milan marks a new stage in the event’s evolution: W.O.I. is now targeting an international audience and opening participation to foreign brands across the entire watch supply chain — from components to packaging, training, and private label services.

“Watches of Italy is not only an incubator for new talent, but also the ideal stage for world premieres. By welcoming international brands, we want to show that independent watchmaking — still little known to some — is more alive than ever and full of stories to tell,” say organizers Fabrizio Dellachà and Silvia Bonfanti.

One of the highlights of the 2025 edition will be the presentation of the new Inceptum Epsilon, scheduled for Saturday 8 November at 14:30. The Epsilon, created by Inceptum in collaboration with Carmelo Amalfi (Bludimelo), showcases refined Italian design and features the new in-house I-02 calibre, fully designed and produced internally. Speakers will include Inceptum founders Alessandro Metelli and Andrea Abeni, together with watch designer Amalfi.

As in past years, the event will support the non-profit association “Gli Amici del Sorriso O.D.V.”, which operates in the pediatric oncohematology and surgery department of the Policlinico San Matteo in Pavia, helping bring smiles back to hospitalized children.
