JGTD 2025, il Medio Oriente accoglie il mondo della gioielleria a Dubai

Per la prima volta debuttano Giordania, Kazakistan, Oman e Taiwan

È in corso la quarta edizione di Jewellery, Gem & Technology in Dubai, uno dei principali eventi B2B dedicati alla gioielleria nel Medio Oriente, organizzato da due dei maggiori player fieristici al mondo, Informa Markets Jewellery e Italian Exhibition Group. L’appuntamento, ospitato fino a giovedì 13 novembre nei Padiglioni 1 e 2 Sud del Dubai Exhibition Centre presso Expo City Dubai, riunisce circa 400 espositori provenienti da 26 Paesi e regioni, con una superficie espositiva in crescita del 10% rispetto alla scorsa edizione.

La cerimonia inaugurale, tenutasi ieri al Golden Stage, ha visto la partecipazione di rappresentanti istituzionali e leader del settore, tra cui Celine Lau (Informa Markets), Maurizio Ermeti (IEG), Marco Carniello ( IEG) Ahmed Bin Sulayem (DMCC) e Tawhid Abdulla (Dubai Jewellery Group). “JGTD è diventata uno dei principali hub di approvvigionamento in tutto il Medio Oriente, Nord Africa e oltre” ha dichiarato Celine Lau, Direttrice delle Fiere di Gioielleria di Informa Markets Jewellery. “La strategia di selezione e di diversificazione degli espositori e delle soluzioni tecnologiche risponde pienamente alle nuove esigenze del mercato e alle sfide globali del settore.”

Un evento, il JGTD, che come sempre, sa andare oltre il business, con un fitto programma di appuntamenti e talk a corollario, come sottolinea Maurizio Ermeti, Presidente di IEG: “JGTD svolge un ruolo chiave nel migliorare la competitività e l’efficienza operativa delle imprese del settore. L’evento combina analisi di mercato, tendenze di design e leadership di pensiero, fornendo strumenti concreti di azione ai professionisti.”

Il programma di oggi prevede, dalle 10:15, il Middle East Jewellery Designers Forum organizzato da The New Jeweller, con la keynote Maryam Al Hashemi (DMCC) e interventi di designer come Azza Al Qubaisi, Maha Al Sibai, Naida Akaeva e Sheikha Al Serkal. Seguirà un panel sulle dinamiche evolutive del retail della gioielleria con Mohammed Karam, Ashish Garg, KP Abdul Salam, Sanjay Jaiswal e Rohit Karnik.

Nel primo pomeriggio, Trendvision presenterà il seminario “THE QUANTUM AGE: Jewellery and the Convergence of Cultural Transformation”, seguito fino alle 17:30 dal “China (Zhengzhou) – Dubai LGD Industry Partnership & Business Matchmaking Forum 2025”

Tra le novità più attese dai visitatatori di quest’anno spicca la High-end Jewellery & Gems Zone, che riunisce numerosi marchi di prestigio come Arjiv Exports, AVYK Diamonds, Beautiful Colorstone, Krainz Creations e Noor Gems Japan.

Per la prima volta, inoltre, partecipano alla fiera anche Giordania, Kazakistan, Oman e Taiwan, accanto ai nove consolidati padiglioni nazionali di Cina, Dubai, Hong Kong, India, Italia, Sri Lanka, Thailandia, Turchia e Stati Uniti.

JGTD 2025: The Middle East Welcomes the Global Jewellery Industry in Dubai

The fourth edition of Jewellery, Gem & Technology in Dubai (JGTD) is underway at Expo City Dubai’s Dubai Exhibition Centre, running until November 13. Organized by Informa Markets Jewellery and Italian Exhibition Group (IEG), the B2B event has grown by 10% compared to last year, hosting around 400 exhibitors from 26 countries and regions.

The opening ceremony at the Golden Stage brought together industry leaders and officials, including Celine Lau (Informa Markets), Maurizio Ermeti (IEG), Ahmed Bin Sulayem (DMCC), and Tawhid Abdulla (Dubai Jewellery Group). Lau emphasized JGTD’s role as “one of the key sourcing hubs across the Middle East, North Africa and beyond,” while Ermeti highlighted its importance in enhancing competitiveness and providing strategic insights for jewellery professionals.

Today’s program includes the Middle East Jewellery Designers Forum organized by The New Jeweller, featuring Maryam Al Hashemi (DMCC) and renowned regional designers. Later sessions explore evolving retail trends and the intersection of culture and technology in jewellery design, followed by a China–Dubai business matchmaking forum.
