Sarà “Infinito Barocco” il suggestivo tema che caratterizzerà la quarta edizione del Premio Incinque Jewels 2024, una riflessione sui cambiamenti sociali, economici e culturali, sulla teatralità e virtuosismi tecnici che investirono il XVI e XVII secolo rivisti in chiave contemporanea attraverso tecniche e materiali diversi. Il gioiello con focus “Infinito Barocco” si farà portatore di un racconto sull’inclusività intesa come una differente concezione della perfezione.
Inoltre, RJW, negli spazi della Galleria Incinque Open Art Monti (prima residenza d’artista dedicata al gioiello contemporaneo ideata da Monica Cecchini) porterà in scena le opere firmate dai due artisti che hanno ottenuto il secondo e il terzo posto dello scorso contest: Simone Cipolla, che mescola tradizione, storia familiare e ispirazioni artistiche utilizzando materiali preziosi, e Igor Quagliata, che regala ai suoi gioielli un’estetica Digital-Punk utilizzando la modellazione 3D e sperimentando materiali e tecnologie innovative.

“Infinite Baroque” will be the evocative theme that will characterize the fourth edition of the Incinque Jewels 2024 Prize, a reflection on the social, economic and cultural changes, theatricality and technical virtuosity that invested the 16th and 17th centuries revisited in a contemporary key through different techniques and materials. The jewelry with focus “Infinite Baroque” will be the bearer of a narrative on inclusiveness understood as a different conception of perfection.
In addition, RJW, in the spaces of the Incinque Open Art Monti Gallery (the first artist residency dedicated to contemporary jewelry conceived by Monica Cecchini) will showcase the works signed by the two artists who won second and third place in the contest: Simone Cipolla, who mixes tradition, family history and artistic inspirations using precious materials, and Igor Quagliata, who gives his jewelry a Digital-Punk aesthetic using 3D modeling and experimenting with innovative materials and technologies.
