Giovanna Engelbert, la Direttrice Creativa Globale della Maison austriaca, in collaborazione con il centro di ricerca della University of the Arts di Londra, il Centre for Sustainable Fashion, ha disegnato gioielli che riprendono elementi del Circular Design Framework del brand, con la consapevolezza che sia necessario ridurre gli sprechi per preservare l’uso dei materiali e aumentare la longevità degli oggetti.

Dunque, realizzati con materiali a basso impatto ambientale, come cristalli Swarovski ReCreated™ e metalli riciclati*, i nuovi protagonisti sono presentati in sei modelli nella collezione Chroma Twist: un pendente con lunetta girevole, con Swarovski ReCreated™ Dark Jonquil; gli orecchini pendenti con cristallo Swarovski ReCreated™ Crystals blu (taglio cuscino) che ruotando svela una pietra rosa; l’anello cocktail con piccoli cristalli Swarovski ReCreated™ blu laterali e al centro una pietra girevole con taglio a cuscino rosa tenue su un lato e un cristallo Swarovski ReCreated™ verde smeraldo dall’altro; una collana a doppio filo con cristalli Swarovski ReCreated™ verdi che, grazie a un movimento rotante, si trasformano in tonalità rosa – le chiusure magnetiche consentono di regolare la lunghezza, o di scomporla in cinque bracciali di diverse misure; un polsino con tre cristalli Swarovski ReCreated™ verdi che ruotando rivelano un cristallo rosa o un cristallo Swarovski ReCreated™ blu.

Swarovski: Chroma Twist, ReCreated™ crystals with a double soul

Versatile jewelry that reveals other hues with a simple twist

Giovanna Engelbert, the Global Creative Director of the Austrian fashion house, in collaboration with the University of the Arts London’s research center , the Centre for Sustainable Fashion, has designed jewelry that incorporates elements of the brand’s Circular Design Framework, with the understanding that it is necessary to reduce waste in order to preserve the use of materials and increase the longevity of objects.

Made from environmentally friendly materials, such as Swarovski ReCreated™ crystals and recycled metals*, the new stars are six models from the Chroma Twist collection: a rotating bezel pendant with Swarovski ReCreated™ Dark Jonquil; pendant earrings with blue (cushion-cut) Swarovski ReCreated™ Crystals that rotate to reveal a pink stone; a cocktail ring with small blue Swarovski ReCreated™ Crystals on the side and a soft pink cushion-cut Swarovski ReCreated™ Swarovski ReCreated™ Swarovski Crystal in the center on one side and an emerald green Swarovski ReCreated™ Crystal on the other; a double-strand necklace with green Swarovski ReCreated™ crystals that, through a rotating motion, transform into pink hues-magnetic clasps allow the length to be adjusted, or broken down into five bracelets of different misur; and a cuff with three green Swarovski ReCreated™ crystals that rotate to reveal either a pink or a blue Swarovski ReCreated™ crystal.
