Lebole Maison: Collezione Settecento, una conversazione sulla grazia del Rococò e la modernità del plex
È lo ‘specchio’ il tema conduttore dei nuovi orecchini asimmetrici
Giocando con i luoghi e le forme, con le materie e le epoche, Lebole Maison ci ha abituati ad una rigenerazione estetica capace di offrire nuove identità ad oggetti precedentemente destinati a tutt’altro uso. Lo ha fatto con i kimono, con i kanji, con le capsule di champagne, con le etichette degli abiti…, e oggi risveglia i contenuti simbolici dello specchio: qualcosa di magico perché riflette il visibile e l’invisibile, il proprio io e il fuori del mondo. È lui il protagonista della Collezione ‘Settecento’, che di quel secolo ha ripreso, sì, le antiche sete fiorate proprie dello stile Rococò che investì le corti europee – i tessuti originali d’epoca sono il filo conduttore del design di Lebole Maison – ma ne ha anche sottolineato la modernità ritagliandosi la cornice nel plexiglass nero e nell’ottone galvanizzato oro.
Anche queste coppie di orecchini sono asimmetriche, ma nelle misure e nei materiali, e, con la grazia di sempre, si completano con pietre naturali, cammei in resina e perle multi-materiche. La collezione, inoltre, racchiude 6 coppie di orecchini a cerchio, anch’essi in ottone galvanizzato oro e decorati con gli stessi elementi pendenti.

The ‘mirror’ is the underlying theme of the new asymmetrical earrings
Playing with places and forms, with materials and eras, Lebole Maison has accustomed us to an aesthetic regeneration capable of offering new identities to objects previously destined for a completely different use. He did it with kimonos, with kanji, with champagne capsules, with clothing labels…, while today he awakens the symbolic contents of the mirror: something magical because it reflects the visible and the invisible, one’s self and the outside world. He is the protagonist of the ‘Eighteenth Century’ collection, which of that century has taken up, yes, the ancient floral silks proper to the Rococo style that invested the European courts – the original period fabrics are the common thread of Lebole Maison’s design – but it has also emphasized its modernity by carving out the frame in black plexiglass and gold galvanized brass. These pairs of earrings are also asymmetrical, but in size and materials and, with the usual grace, complemented with natural stones, resin cameos and multi-material pearls. The collection also encloses 6 pairs of hoop earrings, also in gold galvanized brass and decorated with the same pendant elements.
