C’è un prima e un dopo nel ciclo di vita di un gioiello, un percorso che alla Filostil viene rispettato in ogni fase perché il prodotto finale corrisponda perfettamente agli obiettivi del cliente – gioiellerie o brand – in termini di qualità, di design e di emozione. Già, perché la forza della Filostil è proprio il bespoke, che siano pezzi unici o collezioni. L’esclusività, dunque, fa la differenza, garantita perché l’azienda è nata come laboratorio orafo, nel cuore di Valenza, e perciò ancora radicata su tradizione e savoir faire, ben combinati alle nuove tecnologie.
Pertanto, il risultato finale, a partire dal disegno che valorizza e concretizza tutte le esigenze estetiche e funzionali del committente, dipende dall’abilità di figure di alta professionalità e di grande talento, ovvero, i suoi orafi e artigiani, i suoi disegnatori a mano e i suoi progettisti CAD: a matita o a pennarello, con l’uso di acetati, l’idea viene convertita in immagine prima ancora che con la stampa 3D si presenti al cliente un’anteprima quanto mai reale di quello che sarà il gioiello finito.
Qualche esempio pratico:
- Se il cliente dispone di una pietra ma non di un’idea precisa si lavora sulla gemma per offrire più opzioni (anello, collana o spilla), e se il designer lo ritiene anche dello stile (floreale, geometrico, art decò…);
- Se è in possesso di una pietra ed ha chiaro ciò che desidera, in tal caso riceverà una gamma di modelli tutti disegnati e realizzati in esclusiva per lui;
- Se ha una richiesta specifica ed è in possesso della pietra preziosa, le proposte di design saranno varie ma sempre in linea con l’immagine del gioiello presentata dal cliente.
Non è raro, poi, che il cliente stesso disponga sia di un layout sia delle pietre, allora il disegno servirà a rafforzare l’idea già costruita in precedenza. Va sottolineato che, qualora le pietre siano di elevato valore materico, sarà sufficiente inviare le misure e le indicazioni necessarie, e non la gemma, per la realizzazione del disegno. Nell’eventualità invece che vengano spedite pietre con caratteristiche peculiari, in tal caso verranno scansionate da un apposito macchinario che ne memorizzerà le misure al fine di una perfetta resa nel disegno.
Come per il gioiello singolo, anche per le collezioni è fondamentale confrontarsi personalmente con il designer, il professionista che in prima persona segue e guida lo sviluppo del progetto da realizzare. Confermato il layout delle pietre, la lavorazione passerà alla fase CAD e subito dopo inviato al cliente un set di rendering in attesa di conferma per la produzione. Se necessario, sarà inclusa la mappa delle pietre.

There is a before and an after in the life cycle of a piece of jewellery, a path that at Filostil is respected at every stage so that the final product perfectly matches the customer’s objectives – jewellers or brands – in terms of quality, design and emotion. Yes, because the strength of Filostil is precisely bespoke, whether they are one-off pieces or collections. Exclusivity, therefore, makes the difference, guaranteed because the company was born as a goldsmith’s workshop, in the heart of Valenza, and is therefore still rooted in tradition and savoir faire, well combined with new technologies. Therefore, the final result, starting from the design that enhances and concretises all the customer’s aesthetic and functional requirements, depends on the skill of highly professional and talented figures, i.e., its goldsmiths and craftsmen, its hand-drawers and its CAD designers: in pencil or felt-tip pen, with the use of acetates, the idea is converted into an image before the 3D print gives the customer a very real preview of what the finished jewel will be.
A few practical examples:
If the customer has a stone but no clear idea, work is done on the gemstone to offer more options (ring, necklace or brooch), and if the designer thinks so also the style (floral, geometric, art deco…);
If he has a stone and is clear about what he wants, in which case he will receive a range of models all designed and made exclusively for him;
If he has a specific request and is in possession of the gemstone, the design proposals will be varied but always in line with the image of the jewel presented by the customer.
It is not uncommon, then, that the customer himself has both a layout and the stones, then the design will serve to reinforce the previously constructed idea. It should be emphasised that if the stones are of high material value, it will be sufficient to send the necessary measurements and indications, and not the gemstone, for the realisation of the design. If, on the other hand, stones with special characteristics are sent, in that case they will be scanned by a special machine that will memorise the measurements in order to perfectly render the design. As for the individual jewel, it is also essential for the collections to be personally confronted with the designer, the professional who personally follows and guides the development of the project to be realised.
