Appuntamento a Ginevra con Breguet da Sotheby’s

Circa settanta segnatempo dalla fine del XVIII alla fine del XX secolo

In occasione del 250° anniversario della Maison, Sotheby’s dedica un’asta eccezionale a Breguet e sarà la più importante vendita degli ultimi trent’anni riservata al marchio. All’appuntamento, fissato per domenica 9 novembre 2025, saranno proposti anche altri orologi, quasi settanta, provenienti da collezioni private, tra cui un ramo della stessa famiglia Breguet, discendente del maestro orologiaio per linea femminile, per una collezione che copre tutte le epoche della storia della Maison, dalla fine del XVIII alla fine del XX secolo.

Spiccano l’orologio perpetuo “a tact” realizzato per Re Giorgio IV nel 1827 (N° 4548) e un rarissimo tourbillon risalente all’epoca del fondatore (N° 1890).

Appointment in Geneva with Breguet at Sotheby’s

Approximately seventy timepieces from the late 18th to the late 20th century

To mark the Maison’s 250th anniversary, Sotheby’s is dedicating an exceptional auction to Breguet, which will be the most important sale of the brand in the last thirty years. The event, scheduled for Sunday, November 9, 2025, will also feature nearly seventy other watches from private collections, including a branch of the Breguet family itself, descendants of the master watchmaker on the female side, for a collection covering all periods of the Maison’s history, from the late 18th to the late 20th century.
Highlights include the perpetual “a tact” watch made for King George IV in 1827 (No. 4548) and an extremely rare tourbillon dating back to the founder’s era (No. 1890).
